Listen on Spotify: The One Thing Holding You Back from Your Next Level
What is the one thing holding you back from your next level? You’ve done the work. You believe in what you offer. You can see the momentum building. And still, something keeps you right at the edge without fully stepping through.
That was exactly where Jonny was when he came to me for this session. Jonny is a coach and healer who’d been running his business full-time for about a year. The growth was real, his clients were getting results, and the feedback was strong. And yet something was quietly holding him back from the bigger visibility he knew was possible.
Sound familiar? If you’ve listened to other Rapid Transformation Sessions episodes, you know this is exactly the kind of thing we work through together.
The Fear Underneath the Fear
When I asked Jonny what his biggest fear of being seen was, he paused. A year ago, his answer would have been “I’m not good enough.” But that story wasn’t true anymore.
What came up instead was something more honest. He was afraid of the pressure that comes with a bigger platform, the responsibility of a large audience, and the fear that he might not be able to meet the demand. He also worried he’d lose himself and his gifts somewhere in the process.
And underneath all of it was something real. He’d spent six to seven months the year before battling an autoimmune disease that took him completely offline. Zero energy for most of that year. He’d healed from it, and he was grateful. However, that experience had left a quiet question in his nervous system: what happens if visibility brings so much pressure that it comes back?
So we got to work.
Starting with Spleen 4
I opened the session with an acu-emotional resonance point. The one I chose for Jonny was Spleen 4, nicknamed Prince’s Grandson. It specifically works with worry, overthinking, lack, and scarcity. In fact, what it brings in is a deep sense of spiritual calm and a felt sense of trust that you’re being taken care of by the universe.
We followed that with the 4×10 Liminal Power Breath, a cross-body breathwork sequence that activates both hemispheres of the brain and creates a heightened state of consciousness. This is where Jonny added his personal intention: I’m praying for increased capacity to hold as much abundance as possible.
That word, capacity, turned out to be the key to everything.
What His Higher Self Already Knew
After the breathwork, I guided Jonny into a higher self inner inquiry. In other words, we asked the deepest, wisest part of him to answer the question his conscious mind kept wrestling with.
The question: what is the one thing holding you back from your next level?
What came through surprised even him. He saw himself on a high-profile podcast with hundreds of thousands of listeners. And instead of the fear he expected to feel, there was something else entirely. He felt secure, ready, and excited. He wasn’t trying to manage every listener’s experience. He was simply a conduit, with energy flowing through him and no attachment to the outcome.
The exposure didn’t feel scary. It felt thrilling.
Here’s what struck me: his system wasn’t telling him he had a block. Instead, it was telling him he’d already grown past it. He just hadn’t let himself believe it yet.
You Don’t Have to Manage Everyone’s Experience
One of the most powerful reframes in this session came when Jonny described an old pattern. In the past, he would have felt codependently responsible for every single person listening, always checking: did that land? Was it good for you? There’s no way to do that at scale, and trying to would drain him completely.
But in his vision, he released all of it. He trusted that being a clear channel was enough. As a result, the right people would receive what they needed, and he didn’t need to chase the outcome.
That’s the 33% rule in action.
Picture a circle divided into three sections. About a third of people are going to adore you, think you’re incredible, and tell everyone. Another third lands in the “meh” category where you’re fine, take it or leave it. And then there’s a third where you’re just not their person.
Most of us exhaust ourselves trying to appeal to all three groups. We soften our edges, dull ourselves down, and become so palatable that we lose the very thing that makes us magnetic to the people who actually need us.
What if you just decided to be fully, unapologetically yourself and let the thirds sort themselves out?
The Goal Statement We Landed On
We spent time crafting a goal statement that was short, powerful, and something Jonny could actually feel in his body. Here’s what we landed on:
I’m so happy and grateful I have the capacity to positively impact countless lives earning over one million per year.
What I love about this is that it centers capacity over hustle. It’s not about grinding harder. It’s about being so aligned and so grounded in who you are that the impact and the income follow naturally.
The B-Minus Philosophy That Keeps You Moving
One of Jonny’s action steps was to redo a landing page that hadn’t converted yet. He’d put it together quickly just to get something up and check a box. His plan was to go back, refine it, and make it actually sound like him.
He lives by what he calls the B-minus philosophy. You don’t need perfection. You need movement. A B-minus that exists and gets seen beats the A-plus that’s still in your head.
Additionally, his other action step was to reach out to platforms and people in his network, by voice memo and by email, to raise his hand for opportunities. Not waiting to be discovered. Choosing to ask. That’s the real shift from hoping visibility finds you to deciding to step into it.
What’s Actually Holding You Back
Here’s what I see in session after session: the thing you think is holding you back usually isn’t what you think it is.
Jonny thought he was afraid of visibility. What was actually true was that he’d already grown into the person who could handle it. The fear was simply a few steps behind his own capacity.
Sometimes the work isn’t about removing the block. It’s about recognizing you’ve already moved through it. You just haven’t given yourself permission to act from that new place yet.
So let me ask you: what would you choose if you trusted you already had everything you need?
